Rum Runner's Antiques Village

AVAST, ME HEARTIES!

Just a mile north of Venice and 10 miles south of Sarasota, the coastal village of Nokomis is the "Old Florida" home of Rum Runner's Antiques Village, featuring fine antiques, artifacts and vintage items from prehistoric eras to the mid-20th Century.

Browse our ever-changing selection of unusual finds, and stop for lunch or dinner at Captain Eddie's Seafood or the Curry Creek Cafe, both just around the corner. And check out the other antiques shops, nature preserves, and vintage vacation cottages within walking distance in our historic neighborhood.

EASY TO FIND

We’re just one block east of US 41 and minutes from I-75 exits 200 and 195. See our signs and buildings from Tamiami Trail at E. Pocono Trail. We're right across the street from the Pocono Trail Preserve and around the corner from Captain Eddie's Seafood Restaurant.

LOTS OF ROOMS

Our collective comprises five spacious rooms, an outdoor patio area, plus an adjacent outdoor building along with an oversized garage. The shop and adjacent building are under air conditioning.

AMPLE PARKING

About 30 parking places on-site, with 50 more adjacent.

LARGE OUTDOOR BUILDING

Our huge 4-car garage is a great “bargain barn,” and also holds larger pieces, such as furniture and architectural salvage.

OUTDOOR SPACES

We offer additional room on our two-acre property for outdoor vendors participating in special events and flea markets.

NOKOMIS HISTORY

Our main building, at 109 E. Pocono Trail, was designed in the 1920s by the architect Thomas Reed Martin for the surgeon and entrepreneur, Dr. Fred Albee, who also owned the original Venice-Nokomis Bank building next door, which we also have recently restored. Our buildings are on the Sarasota County Register of Historic Places and we are proud to be part of the Nokomis Center community.
